At Raised Right Pups, dogs aren’t just something we love. They’re a huge part of who we are, how we live, and what makes our family complete. What started as a passion for dogs has grown into something far more meaningful, a family-run program built on love, dedication, and the belief that every puppy deserves an exceptional start in life.
I’m incredibly fortunate to share this journey and passion with my husband. While my husband and I both have extensive educational backgrounds, including advanced degrees in business, healthcare, and leadership, my heart has always belonged to dogs. I’ve spent years pouring myself into learning everything I can about breeding, genetics, canine development, behavior, and training. Through continuing education, mentorships, research, and countless hours of hands-on experience, we have built a program that reflects not only what we’ve learned, but what we genuinely believe every dog deserves.
One of the most special parts of Raised Right Pups is getting to share this passion with our daughter, Bella. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and has become my understudy in every sense of the word. She’s learned nearly every aspect of our program firsthand, from assisting with deliveries and caring for newborn puppies to training, socialization, and boarding. The heart and love she has for these dogs is nothing short of extraordinary. She treats each one as if they were her own, forming genuine bonds and understanding their individual personalities and needs. Watching her grow into such a knowledgeable, compassionate, and capable young woman has been one of my greatest joys. Knowing that she shares my passion and commitment to everything we’ve built makes Raised Right Pups even more meaningful to our family.
For us, raising puppies is about so much more than bringing healthy puppies into the world. It’s about the countless hours spent preparing for their arrival, the excitement of welcoming each new life, the sleepless nights caring for newborns, and the pride of watching their little personalities begin to shine. It’s about knowing each puppy individually, understanding what makes them unique, and doing everything we can to prepare them for the families who will love them for years to come.
Our puppies are raised in a loving, hands-on environment near Oklahoma City, where they’re surrounded by attention, affection, and intentional learning experiences from the very beginning. We incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), sound desensitizing, early potty and crate training, basic commands, and daily socialization. Every stage of their development is approached with purpose, patience, and an understanding of how those early experiences help shape the dogs they’ll become.
We’re equally passionate about the relationships we build with our puppy families. Handing over a puppy is never the end of our journey together. We love receiving updates, celebrating milestones, watching our puppies grow, and being a source of guidance and support throughout their lives. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a puppy we helped bring into this world become such an important part of someone else’s family.
Another special part of our program is the boarding we offer exclusively to our Raised Right Pups families. We know how difficult it can be to leave your dog behind when traveling, and there’s something incredibly comforting about knowing they’re staying with people who have loved and cared for them since the day they were born. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or an extended vacation, our families can enjoy their time away knowing their dogs are in familiar, loving hands. For us, it’s also an opportunity to reconnect with the puppies we’ve raised, see how they’ve grown, and spoil them all over again! It’s one more way we continue to be part of their lives long after they’ve gone home.

Raised Right Pups is based near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We specialize in breeding purebred Mini Australian Shepherds and Golden Retrievers with love, care, and the highest standards. Our family-run operation is dedicated to raising happy, healthy puppies that bring joy to homes nationwide.

It breaks our hearts when we come across a beautiful furry friend who isn't healthy - and way too young. This tells us the puppy is too young to have a genetic disposition. We truly believe every puppy deserves the absolute best, and that's why we've dedicated ourselves to breeding well-tempered, healthy dogs. We take great joy in sharing the rich history and knowledge of our Golden Retriever and Mini Aussie breeds with all our clients. It's disheartening to see some breeders mixing these wonderful breeds with others, too.

• Health testing that goes the extra mile. For Mini Aussies, every parent is tested for over 300+ genetic diseases relevant to the breed.
For Golden Retrievers, we do it all—PennHIP, heart, eyes, and full genetic disease panels. Health isn’t just a priority, it’s a requirement.
• Temperament first—always. We believe in raising emotionally intelligent, well-balanced dogs. We carefully evaluate temperament so we never have to apologize for a puppy that “went wrong.” You can have it all—healthy, beautiful, and stable—and we prove it every litter.
• Tails stay wagging. Our Mini Aussies keep their tails. We don’t dock, because we believe in preserving the breed’s full expression and natural beauty.
• No excessive white. We pair our Aussies intentionally to reduce excessive white, maintain vibrant color, and produce puppies with excellent structure and long-term health.
